We are so excited to have Rhett staying with us at Zodiac for a little while. This boy is one of Megan's (SKR) most planned and anticipated breedings at her barn. He's a truly spectacular boy and one that we're so honoured to be able to help bring along. He's a grandson of Zodiac's amazing producer, A Fine Romance, and his blue-black colour certainly shines through from Romance's genetics. Rhett has been started under saddle and is showing mind-blowing self-carriage, natural balance, and impressive cadence already with very limited under saddle work. He will begin trotting over small crossrails and cavaletti soon. We're being very careful not to rush him - he has such a good head on his shoulders that it's easy to forget he's still but a baby! Here's what Megan says about him: Rhett is a dream come true. I've been wanting to breed his dam for ages, but just wasn't sure who was the lucky man. I finally decided on DEQH's Tres Bon Homme, after noticing how well his offspring were doing in the hunter ring. I nervously waited for the result and I couldn't be happier. Rhett is a stunning blue-black color and has the same award winning gaits of his mother and siblings. I am dying to get him under saddle, but he will not be pushed by any means. Rhett is certainly drool-worthy and a perfect gentleman!"
