Rusty was purchased from Danya at LEC to be a key member of our young and upcoming pony eventing string. He's proving to be remarkably talented already with a temperament that is ideally suited to the eventing course - forward, brave, curious, and also patient and trainable. He will be started lightly under saddle in March of 2009 but he's already working consistently well on the ground. He is displaying strong, rhythmical, naturally balanced gaits, an innate desire to learn new things, and a personality that just screams, "winner!" He's from eventing (and Connemara) royalty - his father was one of the best eventing ponies in the game, and his mother has foaled any number of insanely amazing eventing ponies in her time, as well. Keep an eye on this one; he's going to take the eventing world by storm in a few years.
