Waterford Criosaidh (pronounced KIR-stee) emulates her name perfectly; her exquisitely dappled coat catches the sunlight in just the way that a flawlessly sculpted piece of the world famous Waterford Crystal does. Wanting to be a bit more original, we chose Criosaidh, the Gaelic word for crystal, for her name. A daughter of our founding ISH broodmare Glendalough and the second prodigy of our successful Grand Prix show jumper Tipperary, this little mare has some pretty big shoes to fill! Besides her beauty, Crystal is an amazingly athletic and versatile mare, and we feel that she would fare equally well in either the show jumping or eventing world. Criosaidh was given to us as a gift for the 2009 Secret Santa thanks to Ophelia and Heather H!
