Virgo is the uber mommy in the barn. She doesn't suffer fools and is completely demanding when it comes to keeping her schedule the same and uninterrupted. She basically foals like clockwork, yells to come in at the exact second she knows feeding time is, and also knows to wean her babies almost to the very day that we like to get them weaned. Virgo is a lovely ex-hunter mare who is completely sound but thought it was better to be a mommy than to continue packing her young charges safely around the course. She throws spectacular hunter babies with easy movement, a natural rhythm, and a hugely trainable temperament that will give you some of the nicest hunter babies in Riata.

Virgo has only had two foals so far, but one of them is the uber-hunter, Zodiac Neptune. Neptune has sired one foal himself (PSH Earthshaker, who in turn has also had a foal; Shake the Ground), but his real stength to date is in his amazing show ring performances. Zodiac Aquarelle is Virgo's second foal and we're just as amazed by her as by Neptune!
