Essie is another girl we were generously given from Maggie at SSH when she decided she wanted to go full-size-horse-only at her barn. Well, her loss is definitely our gain when it comes to this gorgeous little girl. She's starting to get up there in years so we give her some special treatment to keep her happy, but she is an experienced broodmare and rarely has problems with her foals. She's absolutely adorable and still looks like she could enter the rated hunter ring and absolutely clean up. She's got a bit of stubbornness in her, but usually she can be sweet-talked (or bribed) into behaving like a proper lady should.

Essie has given Riata two foals as of late-2009. Black Tie White Noise and Silent Fire are both owned by me, currently and both were bred to Welsh Pony royalty from Danya's LEC. Both are just spectacular ponies with so much potential and so much competitive fire.
