Amy is another horse we adopted from Zodewood after her owner abandoned her. She was very thin when they found her and had a nasty quarter crack in her hoof. They gave her lots of time off and although she's now serviceably sound and she feels no pain with light work, her dressage career has been ended for good. The loss of dressage, however, is a gain on our end, as we have a wonderful broodmare with a performance record backing her breeding prowess up. We have every confidence that her foals will possess the same elegant movement and affectionate temperament that her mom has in spades.
