Wii is a very exciting boy. This gelding has more Thoroughbred in him and less Draught. He's extraordinarily energetic and has a short fuse on his temper. Volatile is the word we'd use to describe this firecracker, but for an advanced rider, he is so much fun to ride. His power over the fences is unrivalled by any horse we've ever seen and his incredible scope is something that leaves onlookers with their mouths hanging open. Wii gets much of his power and scope from his Irish Draught mother; she was very large and powerful and could jump the moon. His father was a full-blooded stakes-winning Thoroughbred and passed along both his temperament and his incredible speed and athleticism.

Wii has a huge groundcovering canter so even though it looks like he's moving slowly, the timer tells you otherwise. His strengths lie in the power jumping events - the Derby and the Grand Prix, but he's also quite able to compete in and win the speed classes. Our only complaint with this athletic boy is that he isn't always the most consistent horse around. He likes to play and doesn't always realize that there are times and places for playing and times and places for settling down and focusing. Wii is an undeniable competitor.
