Facilities & Amenities

If there's one thing I know Zodiac has going for it, it's our amazing properties. We have two farm locations - one in King City, Ontario (northern horse country and close to many summer horse show locations) and one in Lexington, Kentucky. We are looking into purchasing additional locations in Wellington, Florida and California for the HITS circuit. As you can tell, Zodiac really is an English-discipline barn with a focus on being close to the racing, hunter, jumper, dressage, and eventing hotspots of North America.

Barns

We have a number of barns on each of our properties. All of our barns are between 20 and 80 stalls (the 80 stall ones have a fun little track so we can drive our golf-carts down the aisles!), and they are usually situated in a cluster with a courtyard, a group of paddocks, or an arena at their centre. In our northern facilities, each barn has one large 200' x 100' indoor arena attached to it for the cold, snowy months of winter). All our barns, including mini-barns, have a large, centrally-located feed room, two large tack rooms, a comfortable, climate-controlled lounge area with seating, a television and DVD-player, a computer, a fridge and microwave, and even a cot for spending the night, if necessary.

Barns are all monitored by closed-circuit cameras with feeds viewable online for boarders and the feeds are also monitored by our gatehouses. Gatehouses are staffed 24 hours a day and act as security - ensuring that your horses are always safe and secure on our properties.

Turnout

We have hundreds of acres available for horse turnout. All pastures are kept lush and green with grass for amazing grazing. Horses are rotated so that no pasture is over-grazed or turned into mud. Each pasture also has a shelter for protection during rain, wind, snow, etc. Horses are not turned out in lightning, extreme cold, or other dangerous weather.

Paddocks are smaller turnout areas for individual or two-horse turnout situations. Each paddock is grass with shade available to the horses. Paddocks are not large enough to provide much running room, but they do provide horses who require individual turnout with much-needed outdoor activity and space
