Available Boarding Plans

Zodiac has just recently opened our doors to boarders, and we're very excited to welcome everyone who chooses to keep horses with us. Our facilities are state of the art, modern, clean, and well-lit as well as being spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable. Our goal is to make your horses (and you!) feel as comfortable here as if you're in your own house.

We have a number of quality facilities that are free to all boarders to use, as well as world-class rings, arenas, eventing courses, and training tracks that are also generally always available to our boarders.

Zodiac prides ourselves on our personal care available and given to boarders and their horses. For that reason, we place a limit on the number of boarders we take on at any given moment. While the information about vacancies isn't available publically on the internet at the moment, boarders are guaranteed personal attention and expert care so strict limits will be maintained on the number of boarders present on the property at any given time. Horses for boarders, however, are not limited (beyond regular horse limits for the boarders, of course).

Please browse our facilities pages as well as the following boarding plans and if you have decided to board with us, fill out the boarding application. We will get back to you within 24 hours as to whether or not we currently have space available for you and your horses.

The various plans that Zodiac offers are listed below. If you are interested in boarding with us, but don't see a plan to your liking, please feel free to contact me and we will likely be able to work something out.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Please note that it is Zodiac's policy to put all horses who have rear shoes in an individual turnout situation. Please add $50.00 to all plans to accomodate this. If you are boarding more than one horse with us and are willing to sign a release for limitation of liability, we will turn all your horses with rear shoes out together and will not charge you the extra $50 for individual turnout.
  • All boarders at Zodiac receive 10% off entry fees on shows held by myself on Zodiac grounds.

Capricorn Plan (The Basic, No-Frills Plan)

  • $200.00/month
  • Horse is turned out 24 hours/day in a large, lush grassy paddock with between 4-8 other horses.
  • Horses are fed twice a day with a feed mixture of your choice, and supplemented with grazing and hay throughout the day.
  • On particularly hot/cold/inclement days, horses are turned out into a covered arena area rather than into the paddock.
  • Horses are not blanketed, groomed, ridden, or exercised.

Leo Plan (The Middle-of-the Road Plan)

  • Choose this plan if you aren't sure what plan to pick!
  • $300.00/month
  • Horse is turned out for the entire day in a large, lush, grassy paddock with between 4-8 other horses and brought into a stall for overnight.
  • Horse is fed once in the morning and once in the evening and supplemented with hay and grass throughout the day.
  • Horse is blanketed when needed, and equipped with any boots or other turnout gear as instructed.
  • Horse is not groomed, ridden, or otherwise exercised.
  • Stalls are mucked out once every morning.

Scorpio Plan (The Top-of-the-Line Special Plan)

  • $600.00/month
  • Horse is turned out for the entire day in a medium sized lush, grassy paddock with between 2 and 5 other horses and brought into a stall for overnight.
  • Horse is fed once in the morning and once in the evening and supplemented with hay and grass throughout the day. If horse needs additional supplements (shark cartilage, bute, etc), this is added as well, though as the owner, you will need to purchase supplements.
  • Horse is blanketed as per your instructions as well as equipped with any boots or other turnout gear he might need.
  • Horse is groomed once in the morning and once in the evening, which includes picking of the feet, currying, weekly mane pulling, soft-brushing, and more as per your instructions.
  • Horse is exercised three times per week by a qualified member of the Zodiac team. Exercise may include basic flatwork, hacking, hand-walking, or conditioning on one of our special conditioning tracks.
  • Stalls are mucked out once every morning.
